Hello, I stumbled across your site and just had to tell you that it is a beautiful website. We own a rescue greyhound x. We rescued him whilst in South West France and brought him back with us to Australia where he now resides with us. He is a wonderful fellow – brindle and all those characteristics that they possess. It cost us a small fortune to bring him back with us but worth every cent.

Linda, I’m so sorry you lost Siena! We would love you to join us with your magnificent Parker one day. The best person to call is Sharon at 778-388-3807. She and Leah walk on the weekends without fail.
If you need help with claws, Sharon and I can show you all about dremeling. Especially after a long walk, when Parker is good and tired! Annie 778-355-9090

Robin, thanks for the pet-sitting offer back in January, here it is June and I just saw the reply! Annie, thanks and it was nice to meet you and the group, too. The greyhounds are lovely! Maybe Parker can join the group for a walk sometime. Sadly, we lost her full-sister, Siena, this week. Three weeks ago she got wobbly, and her energy and appetite decreased quite a bit. Dr. Judy at Port Moody Animal Hospital was knowledgeable about sighthounds and very kind. On Tuesday, Siena all of a sudden shuddered heavily, and then passed away in my husband’s arms in less than 5 minutes. What a dear animal, she was so good with our baby (now a young girl, 4-1/2; Sarah used to “walk” Siena and you can imagine that was quite a sight since Siena was so much taller and heavier than Sarah). If your plans do not work out with “Soul Dogs”, my family would be happy to look after your Borzoi for free. We are in West Van and experienced site hound owners. We had a Greyhound for about 8 years. We had a neigbour in our old place in North Van a Borzoi in the family who visited. The two ladies who had Otta lived in the West End.

It was a real treat to cross paths with you today… your Parker is only the second Borzoi I’ve ever seen. She is stunning.
