Port Moody Greyhounds

Geoff and I did the beautiful drive to Golden on June 25th. We brought our sweet foster Silver Lee with us so that she could meet her prospective new parents in Alberta. Leah arrived from Calgary shortly after we had checked in, with youngsters Dancer, Tony, Rose and Spy. They were a HOOT!!! Tony had only been fostered a short while and the others had never been in a home before, let alone a hotel room! They were so excited!
Dancer immediately jumped on the bed and wouldn’t take no for an answer. HA! The challenge was on! Neither one of us had much stamina from our respective trips, but I did win out in the end and she settled on a cushy dog bed.;-) Below are some pictures from our short night in Golden.

At 4AM the next morning (3AM our time), the sun was up and so were the pups! After feeding, watering, walking and loading up we were off to an early start. On the way home, we stopped in Salmon Arm so that Tanya could fall in love and adopt, her first greyhound, Tony!

Don’t forget, the beautiful little girl Dancer is available for adoption and is being fostered locally!
