May 10th 2010: Hi all, you may have wondered why the long absence… and the answer is, lots has been going on around here!
Sharon, Kathleen, Sandy and I took the Port Moody Greyhounds walk to Tofino! We rented a 2 bedroom log cabin at Crystal Cove Beach Resort near Tofino and took 6 of our dogs for a 5 day holiday. We experienced the west coast of Vancouver Island in all it’s splendor… crashing waves, howling winds, turquoise skies, pounding rains and brilliant sunshine. The sandy beaches with the ebb and flow of the tides were the perfect setting for our long walks. There will be more pictures to follow that were taken by Sharon, but here are some of the dogs relaxing in the cabin.

Great to hear from you. We would love you and Emma to join a walk! They are scheduled Saturdays and Sundays at 0930… but they’ll be earlier as the park gets busier. Call Sharon at 778-388-3807 to make arrangements. We look forward to meeting you!
