March 25th: Chinook Winds Greyhound Rescue in BC received 2 fosters from Alberta a few days ago and they have both been adopted by their foster families! They are the beautiful brindle girls shown on the left in the picture below.

“Lady”, racing name Kelsos Grey Lady, quickly won the hearts of Lisette and Sam and recently adopted, fur brother Jesse (seen on our adoption page under February). Her serene and elegant exterior is frequently spiced up by bursts of joy. This gorgeous girl adores her new family and has become shy Jesse’s rock and mentor.
Geoff and I can’t wait to take a drive out to picturesque Agassiz and have a walk with the newly formed, happy family!
I am thrilled to say that Danna and Brett also failed fostering this morning, when they told me they could not part with the little cuddle bug, Patee Puzzle. We understood perfectly… she only spent one night with us but we fell hard for her, too!!!
A stunning dark brindle with soulful eyes, Patee is an irresistible little spitfire! Her new greyhound brother Dash was found sleeping with her last night… how sweet is that!
Congratulations to both families! Pictures will follow, as soon as I receive them!
As promised, here is a picture of Jesse and Lady! Thanks Lisette!
Come rain or shine, the walks are on for Saturday and Sunday. Please call Annie at 778-355-9090 or Sharon at 778-388-3807 if you’d like to join us or learn more about greyhounds. We are always delighted to talk about our hounds! :-)
