This is a very special Valentines Day for Lisette and Sam, who brought their new boy home last night! Gorgeous and sweet, ”Jesse” is a purebred greyhound from Alberta, that never raced. We cannot wait to meet him, and soon, we will take a drive out to Harrison Hot Springs, where we’ll all do a walk together!

February 14th: It was a super day on the trails. The rain held off and we even caught glimpses of the sun through the clouds. We welcomed Lorraina back, who hadn’t been able to come for some time. (It was great to see you Lorraina, and thank you for taking Breezy and River). Sharon’s Miles made it today, too! He hadn’t been well enough to come for weeks, until Sharon cleverly figured out that his lameness was caused by minute, but very painful corns on the pads of his paws! Miles was so CUTE, shuffling along with his “slippers” on. 
I had a new walking partner today, Donna’s Taylor. We are enjoying puppysitting him for 2 weeks while his “parents” are chillin’ in Hawaii.
Thank you DH Geoff for taking such terrific shots of this special occasion…we had 10 greyhounds in the group this morning! One of the new pictures is at the top of the page… stunning creatures, aren’t they?
Hey, we even saw Bike Guy… with no bike(!) and he provided us with the usual comic relief.
