Saturday, January 23rd: The weekend started off perfectly with a home visit and approval for a greyt couple near Harrison Hot Springs! Let me just say that the hound(s) they adopt will be in greyhound paradise!
Sunday, January 24th: It was a great day for a stroll on the trails. A bit on the cool side, so lots of folks stayed home. At times it felt as though we had the park to ourselves. The pups still managed to attract some admirers, though. One young couple stopped and asked us what greyhounds were like as pets… they were thinking of adopting! We were only too happy to supply them with information and a Chinook Winds Greyhound Rescue business card! 
We ran into our favorite regular (and park icon) “Bike Guy”! That’s all we knew him as for the longest time! He is always in great spirits, and takes the time to stop, chat and make us laugh about something.
