Firstly, let me thank Lynn, Chris, the very handsome collie “Max” and pretty lady “Flirt”, for participating in Sharon and Leah’s ambassadog parade yesterday! The weather was outstanding on Saturday… their admirers were out in full force! I’m sorry there are no pictures of Saturday’s walk, my husband (and photographer) Geoff and I were not available.
Today was quieter on the trails, and the weather turned out to be much better than we had expected. Shortly after we started walking, the rain stopped!
We welcomed newcomers Donna, her husband Richard and their elegant 7 year old boy “Taylor”! ” Taylor” has an uncanny resemblance to my kooky ”Canyon”. As we will be looking after him for 2 weeks, we will soon find out if their personalities match too!
Richard was walking “Taylor”, so I lent Donna my “bum dancer” “Breezy”. Most of us have multiples, so there are always more than enough hounds to go around! 
Kathleen and her beauty “Sugar” were also able to come and she took ”Canyon”. That left me with only one… my aristocrat “River”. He was thrilled to have his momma all to himself!
At the very end of our walk, we were very fortunate to come across Linda and her gorgeous 11 year old Borzoi, Parker! WOW!
Donna and Richard, it was a pleasure having you with us today and we hope to see you again soon!
We might be walking in a new area next week… stay tuned!
